In South America it has established itself as a service leader in Brazil, with direct flights to 12 destinations from Lisbon and Porto in 2014, extending its services to cover all regions of the country: Belem, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Campinas, Fortaleza, Manaus, Natal, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and São Paulo. As well as these new connections to Brazil, TAP has added nine more routes to its network across South America and Europe: Bogota (Columbia), Panama City (Panama), Asturia-Oviedo (Spain), Nantes (France), Hanover (Germany), Gothenburg (Sweden), Belgrade (Serbia), Tallinn (Estonia) and St Petersburg (Russia).
